Massage is never to be used in place of medical care. Massage is not to diagnose problems.  If there is a medical condition that is present please have a doctor's note with permission for a massage therapy treatment.

Human Massage/Muscle Therapy

Angela uses many different techniques while massaging the human athlete.  They are: Compression, Direct Pressure, Friction, Fascial Stretching, Myofascial Release and Percussion.  Every technique might not be used on each client as every individual and/or condition responds differently.  Angela will help you reach your peak performance.

 Stretching

Stretching is an important part of muscle fitness.  It improves blood supply to the muscles and coordination between muscle groups.  Stretching improves performance by maintaining or regaining optimum mobility and suppleness.  This will help reduce injury.  Research has shown that stretching done before exercise to help tone the muscles and ensure good range of motion.  After exercise helps lengthen the muscles to the same state they were in before exercise.  This is true for both the human and the equine athlete.
